Rosemore Calisthenics Dance College is very excited to introduce our new extension classes in Term 3. These classes are designed to help develop the skills, strength, flexibility and technique for our current members, but are also welcome individuals not currently registered with the club but are interested in doing some cali based training.

KINDER CALI

Our Kinder Cali Classes are an introductory class for 2-5-year-olds. They are loads of fun and incorporate coordination, flexibility, strength and dancing. If you have a little one that loves to be a fairy then they will love our Kinder Cali Classes. For a snippet of what a kinder class is like watch the video below:

CALI BALLET

Cali Ballet is an extension class of our regular calisthenic classes. Cali Ballet focuses on developing the foundation skills required for calisthenics such as Turnout, deportment, core strength and ballet syllabus. This class uses a combination of regular ballet training combined with Progressive Ballet Technique (PBT). Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT) is an innovative body-conditioning and strengthening program developed by Marie Walton-Mahon. One of the important elements used in the PBT method is muscle memory which helps to improve students' understanding of core stability, weight placement and alignment. Each exercise in the PBT program has been developed with care and guidance by Marie Walton-Mahon along with a team of physiotherapists. Michele Pink, Principal Coach at Rosemore Calisthenics Dance College is a certified PBT instructor. Here is a video of some of the techniques used in our Calli Ballet Classes

ACRO

Acro classes focus on improving the strength and flexibility to further develop the girls to master some of the more complex movements within calisthenics. Classes will be following the Syllabus designed by Acrobatics Arts. Michele Pink and Jen Phillips are both certified Acrobatics Arts instructors.

FEES 

Fees are not payable on registration.  You will be invoiced at the beginning of the term. * Registration fee is only payable if you are not already a member of CAQI in 2020d at the beginning of the term.
