We're now taking expressions of interest for the 2027 Solo, Duo & Graceful competitions!

If your child loves performing and would like the opportunity to spend more time on stage, these individual performance items are a fantastic way to develop new skills, build confidence, and work one-on-one with a coach – all while having lot of fun in a beautiful costume!

To be eligible, your child must be competing in a team in 2027. Training for these items happens separately to team classes, and there are additional costs involved.

For 2027, the fees are yet to be determined however as a guide for budgeting:

• Solo or Graceful: $35 per 30min training session

• Duo: $17.50 per person for a 30min training session

These costs cover coaching and hall hire, and there are typically 15 SDG lessons. Extra training sessions may be arranged at the coach and parent’s discretion and will be charged at cost.

Additional expenses such as costumes and competition entry fees will apply. 

Families are also responsible for:

• Registering their child for competitions

• Providing a costume (hire, buy, or make/have one made)

• Hair and makeup for each competition

Coaches will provide guidance and support with these preparations as competitions approach.

We’ll share all confirmed competition dates and locations once they’re released by Calisthenics Queensland. At this stage, you can expect:

• Two regional competitions – likely in March and April

• State Titles – likely held in May at Redcliffe Entertainment Centre

If you’re planning to work with a coach outside of Rosemore, you’re welcome to approach them directly – but we’d still appreciate it if you could complete the form so we’re aware of who’s participating next season.
